Invalid status "NA" - use one of "y", "?", "maybe", "no" or "again"

@OwenBlacker: - are you planning to complete this nomination? violet/riga [talk] 07:40, 20 April 2018 (UTC)
@violet/riga: Sorry about that; I'd completely forgotten that I still had the QPQ outstanding and hadn't spotted that you had replied. Thanks for having {{ping}}ed me to bring it to my attention — I'll take a look over the weekend and {{ping}} you back. Thanks again! — OwenBlacker (talk; please {{ping}} me in replies) 09:23, 20 April 2018 (UTC)
PS: I've never seen that use of to make smaller middle-aligned text before. Nice effect! 😊
@violet/riga: I've tweaked the wording there — the change of "neural signals" to "nerve impulses" was me trying to simplify the wording of the hook. Is that better? (I'll go find one to QPQ now.) — OwenBlacker (talk; please {{ping}} me in replies) 20:34, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
@OwenBlacker: Okay that works better. Delving into this a little further I'm not fully sure of the hook's claim. Examining the sources does not backup the claim "...first person in the world to get a bionic prosthesis that is controlled by his neural signals":
  • Article: "first patient in the world to undergo elective amputation and receive a bionic prosthesis"
  • MB: "first person worldwide to receive a bionic hand prosthesis"
  • DW: "Europe's first bionic hand" & "...a bionic hand powered by neural signals. The first man to get one..."
  • BBC: "Patrick was the first patient in the world to choose to have his hand amputated"
I therefore suggest the following ALT hooks:
We're going to need a third party to look over these now - may as well get that started while you work on the QPQ. violet/riga [talk] 21:35, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
@violet/riga: Oh, good spot; thank you. I definitely prefer ALT0a of those 3, as the neural signals part is just freaking cool. It could be worth adding a link to Neural engineering to ALT0a; ALT0b and ALT0c could link to Elective surgery and Amputation. I've completed the QPQ now, here. Thanks again! — OwenBlacker (talk; please {{ping}} me in replies) 22:08, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
Updates made to review and ALT0s. violet/riga [talk] 07:20, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
  • I agree with Violetriga that ALT0a is the most interesting. The hook is cited inline and verified in the source. Rest of the review per Violetriga, so this should be good to go. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 09:59, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
